Paper Parallax

Paper Parallax

Paper Craft • Letterpress • Interactive Design

Paper Parallax is an homage to Ian Coyle's early parallax web design, as well as his 73 Letterpress series. The poster is double sided and slides out from the top and bottom when the tab is pulled. The typography was created based on web images, and turned into a typeface using RoboFont. The final posters were letter pressed using photopolymer plates.

I Got Jokes was a group show about jokes. With Kanye West’s increasing amount of questionable statements and actions, he was the perfect butt of a joke about himself. Inspired by the street artist #kanyepdx, this spray painted 5 layer stencil emulates an unfolded album cover, with self-hypnotized Kanye popping out, mirroring just how much Kanye loves Kanye.

Ready to Die is a 20th anniversary show commemorating the release of Notorious B.I.G.s Ready to Die, and how it impacted all of our lives. Coogi Paper is a 6'2" woven paper banner which emulates the infamous Coogi sweater. Woven into the banner are the album's lyrics as well as specially created Biggie currency imagery. The astro bright papers were printed using a Risograph printer.
